What is TEDxCocoaBeach?

WhatIsTEDxCocoaBeach

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxCocoaBeach, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxCocoaBeach event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

TEDxCocoaBeach is a Go!

TEDxCocoaBeach Graphic

Thanks to the efforts of organizer, Bryan Bergeron, TEDxCocoaBeach is scheduled for March 23rd of 2019! The theme of the 2019 event will be “The Value of Shared Experiences”. This is intentionally abstract, and open to interpretation – so that it’s broad enough to leave room for a wide range of topics and speakers. We invite you to get involved, as a volunteer, or by submitting your idea. Keep your eye out for the invitations and applications!

Time to love and share!

Why do some careers last and some sputter out? Why did your younger co-worker get the promotion when you are the one with experience? In spite of what you think, it’s probably not your age.

Celebrate TEDxCocoaBeach!

WOW! What a great time! 8 great ideas, 8 great speakers, 8 great talks! 100 audience members who raved about the event! Our thanks to everyone who made this event a success… from Speakers to Volunteers to Audience members! We’re in the process of editing the videos now, they will be posted within the week, so keep your eye out, and make sure to share YOUR favorites. We’ll post those here and on our social media sites (FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram). ALSO, we have just a few tshirts left… Lg and XL… we’ll be happy to ship to you. Click here […]
